One of the most evocative places in the world, just the name conjures up images of this cultural melting pot, sandstone buildings, dusty streets, and towering minarets against deep blue skies immediately spring to mind.
Known as "The Red City", thanks to the hue of the thick walls surrounding the old city, Marrakech is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces, and gardens.

It is a primary tourist destination in Morocco during the holidays, as well as a starting point for excursions into and across the Draa Valley and the desert. It is the Hollywood of Africa with big movie sets. Films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Jesus from Nazareth, and part of the Game of Thrones were shot here.
Essaouira
It is located on the western coast of Morocco, an Atlantic port city. Crenelated walls, special wind, and houses with white and blue facades, Essaouira, the ancient Mogador is the "Bride of the Atlantic".
